There is something about Summer that takes my fragrance choices into 2 categories that often combine, fresh citrus and floral.

Boucheron Paris developed Place Vendome in 2013 named after the street the Perfume House owner Frederick Boucheron had his first jewellery shop back in 1893 the perfume is said to symbolise 150 years of gems and light.

Pink Pepper, Orange Blossom and Rose are the first impressions of this fragrance followed by Jasmine and honey with a base note of cedar wood, it really is quite a contradiction in my opinion, I want to say light and floral but it has a beautiful warmth that I imagine comes from the Honey, it is not in the slightest cloying or heavy but the smallest spritz really does provide lasting power that you wouldn't need to top up all day unless you wanted to.  The heavy weight glass bottle with it's raised quilted diamond effect said to reflect the paving stones of Place Vendome is topped with a smokey gem housed in gold. This is not a bottle you will want to hide away, but as always with fragrance NO sunlight please.
