Hi Darlins
I wanted to write this post, as a couple of years ago I started doing YouTube videos which included empty products simply because it was de rigueur in the YouTube world, well this lasted about 5 vids and I gave up, so I was thinking, as I sometimes do, and no not wondering where I left the car keys ! real thinking about the whole empties thing, when I started blogging my thinking was why do these people show empty bottles and jars ? has the world gone mad and who cares what you throw in your bin as long as it's not landfill. Two years on and I have discovered there is a huge need for these showings, beauty bloggers are an incredibly fortunate bunch, we are spoiled with samples and gifts of products to try and tell you about, and as such never really need to finish up anything as there is always something to replace it coming in the post or there is always a new release out there that we are desperate to throw our money at. What this means is that something has to be incredibly special for a beauty blogger to use a product to the end of the bottle or even better go out and spend money to replace the empty item.
What I have here is a selection of the products I have used to the very last drop, if I have written about them I will include a link to the post.
Starting with It Cosmetics Hello Lashes Mascara, this came to me as a brand sample and I love it enough to buy it again and again, you can read my thoughts here
Next is Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, I personally don't hold with the fact that Micellar Water is good enough to use as a stand alone cleanser, although as you can see I have used this up, I use it for when I get out of the shower in case there is any soap or conditioner residue left on my face, I use it as a kind of third cleanse if you like, I do my usual double cleanse, and then a final whip over with micellar to freshen up ( mornings only ) I have not replaced it and to be honest I haven't missed it, so will probably not be doing so.
Clinique Take The Day Off, this is a small size that came in a beauty box, I think it was the M & S one ? I LOVE this, it's gentle and effective and dealt with removing eye make up in a clean no smeary way. now, I would 100% buy this if I needed to, however my next product is as good but for a fraction of the price !
Nivea Daily Essentials Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover, I replaced my beloved Lancome eye make-up remover for this product having used it for over 10 years, I cannot stress how much I love the Nivea and would never ever be without it. Bargain !!
Pixie Glow Tonic. I bought this on a trip to London as I had been sucked in by the hype, it was my first foray into Glycolic and is lovely, however I have stepped up my game when it comes to Acids and have found other products that I adore, that said, I would buy this again as it is gentle enough to use in the mornings.
Niod Multi-Molecular Complex by Deciem, I have written about this here I love and adore this product, and would most certainly buy it again, however at the moment I am a little bit obsessed with The Ordinary range from Deciem which is unbelievably good value for high quality skincare you can read about it here

So that's my little round up, I am sure my empties bin will appear here again soon, please let me know if it is of interest.
Thanks
