Leighton Denny Nail Polish |
Hi Loves
As with fashion collections Spring/Summer is an exciting time when it comes to make up and nails, in my opinion things just get prettier all round and with the promise of sunnier days coming.
Leighton Denny Nail Polish Brief Encounter |
Leighton Denny is not a new discovery for me, the brand has been around for over 20 years and with Leighton being awarded an MBE in 2015 for his contribution to the nail and beauty industry it's safe to say he knows a thing or two. When it comes to nail products I think it's too easy nowadays just to grab a colour off the self quite often even thrown in with your regular food shop ! we then get used to nice colours that don't last, with nail varnish I 100% think you get what you pay for and if you are happy and have time to re-paint every couple of days, then cheapies are all well and fine, nail painting is not something I enjoy as a hobby, I love painted nails and the thought of leaving the house with bare nails is like going without mascara to me, which is unthinkable, if I go to the trouble of doing the job, I want it to last.
Leighton Denny Nail Polish Pure White |
I have found that with Leighton Denny polish you remove it well before you need to just for a change of shade rather than it looking shameful and being a necessity, the shades featured here I wore for around 5-7 with not a chip in sight, while I have used the brand as a stand alone polish I find I get longer wear by topping with Crystal Finish top coat, which allows the nails to dry quicker, become diamond hard and produce a fabulous gloss, another thing to keep in mind is the size of your polish bottle, these are a good size 12ml, I have experienced polishes as small as 4ml for a higher price.
With the exclusion of the 5 nail nasties Tosylamide Formaldehyde resin, Camphor, DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde you can rest assured that you are using a quality product.

Do you have a nail polish favourite ? I would love to know.
