Open any Jane Iredale pack and you are told that there are application videos available at JaneIredale.com I flipping love this idea, it's so helpful when a brand want to actually show you their products being used in real time, and for me it also shows a confidence in the products being completely transparent in everything they do. Worth grabbing a cuppa and heading over for a little viewing time.

I don't know about you but I couldn't even think about applying lipstick without a liner nowadays, as I have aged the definition has definitely diminished on my lip line, and what with fine lines a lip pencil I find essential for bringing back the definition and stopping any feathering of lipstick. I couldn't count the amount of lip pencils I have bought and thrown away, some are so scratchy they are almost painful to use and then on the other hand some are so soft they resemble lipstick, bleed into fine lines and totally defeat the object of wearing liner all together.  This lip pencil from Jane Iredale is just right!  it is firm but not scratchy and soft enough to give you the perfect outline in one go. The shade shown here is Spice, there are 11 shades to choose from with Spice being what I would call the most natural in terms of matching my own natural lip shade.

Well in truth the description tells you everything you need to know about this luxurious lipstick, it has fabulous lasting power, is completely comfortable to wear in that it feels more like a lip conditioner than an average lipstick. The case itself is a beautiful soft Rose Gold metal, with a magnetic closure ensuring your lid wont fall off in your make up bag. ( why don't all lipsticks come this way?)   The shade shown here is Molly, the lipsticks are available in 15 shades. The lipstick has a subtle sweet flavour almost like candyfloss making it a joy to wear.
High on the list is the addition on Morninga Oil which conditions the lips keeping them soft and plumped. While this is described as a matte lipstick it isn't dry or chalky it just leaves a gorgeous matte look moisturised colour payoff.
