Alpha-H Essential Cleansing Balm

A short while back I had the pleasure to discover some gorgeous newness from one of my favourite brands Alpha-H, one of these 2017 items is The Essential Cleansing Balm 50ml, this balm will be available from around the end of August, so hopefully you won't have to miss out and can be one of the first to discover it.

The Essential Collection is a paired back collection of products aimed at re stabilising the skins lipid barrier and creating a cushioning thermal gap to lessen the impact of of changes in atmospheric conditions ; to preserve the integrity of the skins structural matrix;  I could go on BUT here's the thing, our skin is under constant attack from pollutants, yes we all know about pollution in the air, and UV rays but nowadays we subject our skin to blue light emissions, constant variations in temperature and more muck in the air than you would believe !  According to the Air Quality Index in Jan 2017, London's pollution and smog levels overtook that of Beijing !

85% of the visible signs of ageing can be directly attributed to to causes that are preventable,  did you know that sitting in front of a computer for 4 days is the damages the skin to the same level as 20 minutes of in the sun with no protection ?  60% of the worlds population spend more than 6 hours a day in front of a screen.  in a nutshell we are digitally ageing !!

Gone are the days when you popped out for fresh air.

Anyway, I am digressing, I could in fact go on for hours on this topic as I find it so fascinating the way the world is changing our skin.

Essential Cleansing Balm 50ml
This rich emollient balm comes as always with Apha-H an airtight pot which allows you to dispense just the right amount of product while keeping contaminants out of your jar, apply directly to your skin and massage in, add a few drops of water to emulsify the balm into a white liquid and rinse off with a wash cloth/ flannel  and warm water, it will literally dissolve the heaviest make up and whisk it away in seconds, the balm has a fabulous dual use in that it can be left on the skin overnight as an overnight repair, you may want to use an old pillowcase for this as it is no lightweight cream and may well end up on your pillow, who care if you wake up with good skin ?

Containing rich essential fatty acid, a wealth of essential oils including Sea Buckthorn, Rose Hip and Geranium this Rose infused balm is pure luxury to use.
