Mary Kay NEW Gel Semi-Shine Lipstick

You have heard me talk about Mary Kay previously and can read about it here, this time round this post comes with some fabulous new launches I have 2 lipsticks to show you,  Gel Semi-Shine  and the shades are literally both ends of the spectrum, a Deep Red and a Nude.




First off I want to mention the packaging, I love it !  possibly because it reminds me of Giorgio Armani packaging, but more because not only is it elegant in it's black gloss tube and at the same time totally handy, the casing top has a round window for you to see your shade ( clever ) 

Onto the shades 




Naturally Buff, is the perfect nude in that it will suit everyone, the  gel semi-shine consistency literally glides on feeling super lightweight and comfortable, while not a gloss it gives your lips a healthy sheen making them appear ultra moisturised.



Scarlett Red , for all you red loving diva's out there this red I would say is more of a dark cranberry, again the consistency is fabulous, it has a great pigment and does last with no bleeding, I tried it without a lip liner and had no problems at all with feathering.

These lipsticks have what the company call optical illuminators, I could tell there was something going on as it's not a pearl or a shimmer but there is definitely something giving a soft blur look to the lips.
