My love for all things Retinol was really peaked when I received this Image Skincare Ageless overnight Retinol Masque to try out. I have to be honest and say it's been a pleasure discovering Image Skincare as a brand, I had not previously tried anything from them so this mask was a perfect introduction.




Image Skincare is an American Brand which is available worldwide, it's founder Janna Ronert is a huge advocate of health and wellbeing and is a worldwide speaker on the subjects. Total Overnight Retinol Masque is from the Ageless collection which hosts products specifically designed to tackle the signs of ageing, the  AHA blends, nutripeptides, retinols, lightening agents and anti-oxidants are aimed at producing younger looking skin. Skin that looks older, photo-damaged, pigmented, dull or tired they say will benefit from this collection.

The masque is contained in a plastic pump system container ensuring that each application is the freshest it can be, it has an almost clinical fragrance to it, there is nothing flowery or fussy about this product it is pure skincare, for those of you that shy away from the use of retinols for fear of harsh peeling, this product will not produce those results, it is a rich creamy mask that has something the company call water bank technology to lock in moisture.




Used 2-3 nights a week it produces fabulous results, as always with Retinol use SPF during the day as your skin will be more sensitive during this period, a thin layer of the cream is applied to cleansed skin at night, I advise doing it a little while before bed to give it time to be absorbed, and in the morning you literally rinse away with warm water, my skin definitely benefited on the nights I used this masque, It was super hydrated with the fine lines appearing softened, and my skin had a definite firmness to the touch, you could be tempted to use this more often than the recommended 2-3 nights as the results are apparent, I wouldn't though, less is more in this case.
