Gosh Copenhagen  AW17 Collection  Prime N Set

the new season launch from Gosh Copenhagen is always one I look forward to, this new AW17 season collection really is one to behold, at the launch party we were treated to make up displays and first looks at the new collection up close and personal, it isn't until you get home and really start trying out the products for yourself do you get a full view of just how good this season is.


In this post I have been sampling 

Prime N Set Primer & Mattifying Powder.

This two in one powder comes in 2 shades Banana shown here, this is one of the things I love about Gosh, a lot of the products are dual purpose which is not only clever it also saves you money and makeup bag space !

Just in case you were wondering NO Banana's were used in the production of this powder lol




You may well see this online or in Superdrug and wonder what it does, or what it's for ?  let me explain, it is an ultra fine powder that has a yellow tone to suit almost any skin colouring, it colour corrects surface redness and neutralises dark under eye circles, it sets make up perfectly with an invisible veil to mattify any shine, it makes your make up last longer it minimises fine lines and open pores,  and actually is one of those products that leaves you wondering how you lived without it.

Prime N Set can also be used for baking, no not for a Victoria Sponge !!  but for the new trend of
 * Baking * or *cooking*  your makeup, traditionally this was the trick drag artists use to produce a flawless face finish, nowadays it has become the standard for girls who like the flawless Insta look on their make up.

Quite simply you apply a thick layer of powder over your foundation and concealer and leave it to  "cook"  for up to 30 minutes before dusting off with a large fluffy brush.  The idea being that your makeup melts into your skin under the powder.

If you don't want to go that drastic use a light dusting wherever you have shine, I tend to use a tiny bit on my forehead, nose and chin.  for a completely natural face the powder can be simply used as a primer for a flawless look to your skin.
