I can almost guarantee you wouldn't have heard of Susie's Snappy Swimsuits, I hadn't until I was contacted by founder Susie Martin, once I took a look at the costume I was literally blown away by the sheer genius of something so simple.
While on holiday with her Mum and struggling to get out of their cossies for the loo, Susie had what can only be described as a light bulb moment, and realised there was a simple solution to this age old problem. Until now our options were to struggle or pull to one side and risk peeing on your own hand ! Susie has solved the problem by putting poppers on the crotch like a bodysuit. ( I told you it was genius ) Now here's the thing. This is the only design worldwide that does this ! Susie did her research and set about designing an sourcing the best materials for her swimsuit.
The swimsuit itself is made of a beautiful Italian ethically sourced fabric, it has a hold in front panel, which is super comfy to wear, I have tried ones that literally feel like a corset, this one gives you a good silhouette without squeezing the lumps out somewhere else. It has adjustable straps and soft padded bra cups, with a side ruche and faux tie that really does flatter the tummy area, and best of all 3 snap shut poppers for ease of escape, the suit is made in England.
The thing that occurred to me with this swimsuit is how perfect it would be for anyone that suffers any type of incontinence, not just bladder incontinence but possibly for Crohns/Colitis sufferers who literally don't have time to faff around escaping out of a swimsuit.
To me this design is both flattering and functional.
80% Polyamide
20% Elastane
Care: Gentle machine wash, max 40 or hand wash, air dry
It washes beautifully, I have machine washed mine with no fading or loss of shape.
